The Kay Days

Step out on the streets of Hong Kong and you’ll see that this busy city is full of both cultural elements and sophisticated city living. In our extended layover here, we’ve seen many areas of both Hong Kong and Kowloon, as well as Victoria Bay. Beautiful Chinese-style boats are abundant here in the harbor, making the water a colorful sight to see.

While here, we’ve also had the opportunity to indulge in some of the city’s world-famous street food. We stopped for shelter at a small place on Bar Street to get a quick bite to eat. I settled on a spicy octopus kabob.

Dim sum was also a favorite! Here’s the “Goldfish” style dumpling at Serenade Restaurant, located right on Victoria Harbor.
